Vukojevic: Lucescu – Ferguson from Eastern Europe
Assistant coach of Dynamo Ognen Vukoevich spoke about working with Mircea Lucescu in the Kiev team.
“This is an invaluable experience, this is Alex Ferguson from Eastern Europe. I learn every day from this legendary coach who lives for football. He prepares for every match down to the smallest detail, he always has a plan B, even a plan C.
We live at the Dynamo base, so we are always together. There are many unforgettable and instructive stories in his career that he tells us when we sit relaxed at the table. I couldn’t imagine a better start to my coaching career.
There are three of us assistants, every day we conduct training and work individually with the players according to the program, which was compiled by Lucescu. We pin up we often communicate and analyze different situations. I am very glad that Lucescu is interested in our opinion and appreciates what we say. It is clear that his word is the last one, but he is prone to discussions and accepts our proposals,” Vukojevic said in an interview with the Croatian daily morning newspaperJutarnji List.
Previously, Vukojevic spoke about the club’s plans for the winter transfer window.
